    SD Jazz
    SD JB
    Gibson P90's
    SD phat cats
    PAFs

I play mostly Jazz, Blues and roots. I do play a bit of old school metal, but I don't have enough teenage angst to play it right.

I've been looking for a humbucker sized P90 pickup , that's in 9.5k ohms - 11k ohms range, to put in the neck position.
Single coils and P90's in that range in the neck possition have an awesome tone and especially great with doing a very convincing acoustic guitar sound when using an Acoustic guitar modeler or simulator.

I really like the phat cats, just not convinced that they have a true P90 tone. Great pickups. A tad brighter than my Gibson P90's. You might be able to play with the caps and pots to dial that out.

A British Company called Iron Gear makes some pretty good pickup too.

Dragonfire Screamers bridge pickups remind me of Seymoure Duncan JB pickups ..... I got a set of those too !!!!

A few months back, I got a black Epiphone LPC with three humbuckers, took out the pickups and put in a Carvin M22SD (13.9k ohms) in the bridge, a Bill Lawrence XL500 ( 11.28k ohms) in the middle and Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon (10.20k ohms) in the neck area, routed the body for a Floyd Rose and added concentric ( stacked 2 in 1 knobs) .....
I put in a switch to split the coils on the Screamin' Demon during our covers of Diary of a Madman, Can Kill Rock n Roll or Fade to Black ... With an Acoustic simulator, it totally sounds like an acoustic guitar.

Recent favorites are the Bareknuckle Painkiller pair in a Jackson I got on CL, not a big fan of the guitar itself though

I found Bare Knuckle pickups to be expensive, but worth it.
